Animal

An animal allergy is an abnormal immune reaction to proteins in an animal’s skin cells, saliva, or urine. People who also have asthma may experience wheezing and difficulty breathing. Symptoms will include some (not always all) of the following:

Nasal: congestion, runny nose, or sneezing
Respiratory: shortness of breath, wheezing, or coughing
Eyes: puffy eyes or watery eyes
Skin: itching or skin rash

Seasonal

Whole body: fainting, lightheadedness, low blood pressure, dizziness, fast heart rate, or flushing
Respiratory: difficulty breathing, rapid breathing, shortness of breath, or wheezing
Skin: hives, itching, swelling under skin, blue skin (poor circulation), or rashes
Gastrointestinal: nausea or vomiting
