Drinking plenty of water and eating complex carbohydrates and plenty of protein are great ways to keep your body functioning optimally and fight a lack of energy.
2. Sedentary Lifestyle
“A body in motion stays in motion,” and “a body at rest stays at rest.” A sedentary lifestyle is a sure recipe for a low energy life. A brisk walk is often much more effective in alleviating low energy than a nap. During exercise, endorphins are released into the bloodstream, the heart pumps more blood throughout the body, and more oxygen is absorbed by the brain which provides more focus, alertness and energy. Exercise also strengthens muscles so that daily activities become easier. The immune system is strengthened by regular exercise as well. All of these factors counteract low energy levels.
